Glow Baby, Glow! How to Glow like J.LO

Have you ever wondered how to get that glowing skin? How does Jennifer Lopez do it? I have the secret. It all has to do with an amazing product I use on my clients called an illuminator. You can use this product either under or on top of your foundation or both. I like to apply it on the T-Zone, Cheek bones, lower cheek, around the top lip, and the chin.

Beautiful Illuminated Skin!

You can buy an illuminator in pressed or liquid form. I love the liquid. It’s easy to blend out. Powder is beautiful and great for oily skin types.

Movie Night: “How far would you go to get your answers?”

Scott and I spent this Sunday evening going to eat at Roscoe’s to have some amazing chicken and waffles and see the movie Prometheus.

Waiting outside Roscoe’s. They have the best chicken and waffles on the planet!

The front of Roscoe’s. You would think you are at a club they way they make you wait outside. Worth it though!

Waiting by the book section in Hollywood Arclight. The line was so long.

Ridley Scott, director of Alien and Blade Runner, returns to the genre he helped define. With Prometheus, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race. — (C) Official Site

I heard a lot of about this movie. Lots of different rumors that it was the prequel to Aliens. That it is the best of Ridley’s movies. I wish the movie had started at the point where everyone except Elizabeth Shaw and the robot, David dies and Earth was saved and then see where Shaw goes on her jouney through space to find the creaters of human life. The characters were undeveloped, You keep bits and pieces of side stories but that’s it. Like, what’s the story with David, the robot? How is he so much like a human? What’s the story with Charlize Theron and her Father? Why do they hate eachother so much? What did she go through to get into being a captain on a spaceship? This film left a lot of questions unanswered. I give it a C at best. This film was more about where humans come from that the beginning of Aliens. Great visulas though. Maybe there will be another movie. Seeing how this one went I think don’t hold your breath waiting.

Movie Knight! Why So Serious?

Christopher Nolan steps back into the director’s chair for this sequel to Batman Begins, which finds the titular superhero coming face to face with his greatest nemesis — the dreaded Joker. Christian Bale returns to the role of Batman, Maggie Gyllenhaal takes over the role of Rachel Dawes (played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins), and Heath Ledger dons the ghoulish gleeful Joker makeup previously worn by Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero. Just as it begins to appear as if Batman, Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman), and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) are making headway in their tireless battle against the criminal element, a maniacal, wise cracking fiend plunges the streets of Gotham City into complete chaos. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I really like this movie. Heath Ledger is amazing in the film. Does anyone else think that the Batman voice is a little over the top? I know that he needs to sound different or everyone will guess who he is, but it’s just a little too much. Also, seriously I can’t believe Rachel Dawes had to die. I understand they had to save Harvey Dent. He was supposed to be the saviour of the city. I guess killing the bad cops wasn’t hurting Batman’s cause. I am very excited for the next installation “The Dark Knight Rises”

Movie Night: Batman Begins

We are going to watch both “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight” before “The Dark Knight Rises” comes out to theaters.  Last night Scott and I watched “Batman Begins” for our Friday movie night.

In the Batman Begins thriller young Bruce Wayne(Gus Lewis) is a the son of very wealthy, philanthropist parents, that love their city Gotham, and make great efforts to improve the city and rid it of crime.  His mother and father are killed by a mugger in an alley and Bruce Wayne(Christian Bale)  grows to be a very angry and full of guilt. He is encouraged by his childhood friend Rachael Dawes(Katie Holmes) to look beyond his need for revenge and figure out what he can do to help the city of Gotham.Wayne eventually finds his answer to his fear, anger, and guilt in the Far East under the tutelage of Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson), a member of the mysterious League of Shadows who guides him in the study of martial arts — and the ways in which an ordinary man can hone his senses to almost superhuman. After seven years away from Gotham, Wayne returns, determined to save his city, Gotham. With the help of his faithful manservant, Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine), and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), a scientist at his late father’s corporation, Wayne develops a secret identity as Batman, a masked fighter for justice. But when a psychiatrist (Cillian Murphy) joins forces with the criminal underworld, Wayne realizes that putting an end to their nefarious plans will be very difficult indeed.
