Poppy Delevingne was the other celebrity that go married in Memorial Day weekend and she had TWO weddings!

For her first ceremony the bride was more classic and glowy. Smoky eyes and lots of false lashes. Her lipstick was a natural pink with a hint or pearl shimmer. The cheeks are contoured and highlighted with a dewey finish. This look is requested A LOT with my bridal clients.

New Year, New You

2013 is right around the corner. This is the perfect time to make sure you are using the best products. Our skin changes from season to season, with age, hormone levels, and stress. You should make sure you are using the right products for your skin type and check your sun screen to see if it’s expired.

Every new year I open my make up bag, dump it out and start over with fresh makeup and skin care. It’s easy to start with the basics.

The perfect basic make up bag:

Eyeliner Make sure you have a black liner for dramatic looks and depending on your eye color one for every day.

Mascara- Have you tried Estee Lauder’s Sumptuous Mascara? This light formula lifts, separates, and adds drama to your lashes and doesn’t smudge.

Bronzer- If you can find a bronzer/highlighter duo this is perfect for contouring and highlighting for a perfect look.

Blush- Try a peachy pink shade. This will add warmth to the skin during these last few cooler months and it blends well with bronzer.

Lip Gloss- For the new year I recommend trying something new. A great berry shade looks good on all skin tones.

Lipstick- Go for a bold color. I love red. It’s classic and always turns heads.

Jennifer Lopez and Daughter Enjoy Paris Fashion Week

Jennifer Lopez brought her four-year old daughter Emme to Paris Fashion Week. They both were glammed up or the show and sat in the front row with Jennifer’s Boy friend, Casper Smart.

Emme wore a pink dress and shoes with a white cardigan and a cute butterfly purse. Jennifer look radiant as always.

For dewy skin apply a moisturizer to your skin. You will also want to use a cream based bronzer to get a warm glow.Apply highlighter to T-Zone, above the apples of cheeks, and chin area.

Jennifer has contoured her face with a bronzer along the forehead, cheekbones and jaw line. In the photo the eye shadow ia charcoal color and black liner. Apply a lot of mascara.

Line the lips with a bright rosy pick lip liner and a lipstick shade to match.

Jake Gyllenhaal is shooting a new movie. Ther new movie End Of Watch is about two young officers ( Jake and Michael) are marked for death after confiscating a small cache of money and firearms from the members of a notorious cartel, during a routine traffic stop . I am exctied for this film. I’ve always think Jake is a great actor and I enjoy his movies.

Michael Phelps Is New Louis Vuitton Model

It looks like the most decorated olympic athlete will have a new career as a model. He was photographed by  Annie Leibovitz for the Louis Vuitton shoot in a bathtub wearing his speedo of course next to his monogrammed Louis Vuitton duffel bag. Look for Michael Phelps new ad campaign in most popular magazines. It looks like even though Michael Phelps has retired as an olympic swimmer he still will be bringing home the gold in other ways. I’m defiantly looking forward to this ad. Looks like Michael Phelps will be joining the Louis Vuitton model club with Angelina Jolie, Muhammad Ali, Sean Connery, Bono, Mikhail Baryshnikov with Annie Leibovits.

Christina Aguilera Shows Off Her New Hair Trend

 

The songstress Christina Aguilera was seen at the press junket for The Voice in Los Angeles showing off her new purple do. I love this look on her. The purple really brings out her natural warm tone in her skin and makes her eyes pop! She has the confidence to pull off this look. Christine looked great in her rocker leather jacket and dress that hugged her curves.

 

We have seen this look on lots of other starlets in Hollywood, Ashley Tisdale, Katy Perry, and Nicole Richie just to name a few.

Rhapsody Commercial Featuring Steven Helmkamp from “Clean Break”

Last week I worked on set for Logan Hale’s company, Your Little Film. We shot a commercial for Rhapsody featuring “Clean Break” star Steven Helmkamp.  It was a fairly easy make-up job. Steven didn’t need much work to get “camera” ready. I also had to make sure his hands looked amazing since he will be shown on the devices using the app.We had a great time. The entire crew was amazing. Our talent did a great job demonstrating how to use the Rhapsody app.
